Daniel "Little Duck" Eric Martin

Daniel Eric Martin, 38, of Washington, passed away on February 24, 2017. Known by his friends as "Little Duck," he had a smile that would brighten any room, loved building model trucks and working on his Dad's eighteen wheeler. He enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, the UNC Tarheels and the Dallas Cowboys, watching NASCAR, and loved his cat, "Junior." He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Kenneth Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at the Bridgeton Cemetery.

Daniel is survived by his pride and joy, daughter, Ashley Martin of Washington; his mother, Audrey Armstrong Jones of Bath; his father and stepmother, Bobby R. Martin, Sr. "Rubber Duck" and Luanne Martin of Washington; two sisters, Sharon M. Dixon and husband Wayne of Vanceboro and Macy Martin of Washington; one brother, Bobby Ray "Buddy" Martin, Jr. of Washington; four nephews, Derrick and Jacob Krick, Bobby Martin, III, and Hunter Martin; and two nieces, Adrianna Krick and Chloe Martin.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
