

Claudia, age 73, went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 5, 2024. Born on October 5, 1950 in Butte, Montana, Claudia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Claudia found immense joy in spending time with family, traveling, and sharing her love for Christ with her church family. She was a member of the Blackfeet Indian Nation and enjoyed celebrating her heritage. After graduating from UNC Greensboro, she began her nursing career in the Army. She then continued her nursing career and retired from Craven Surgery Center in 2007.
Claudia is survived by her husband Johnny Henley of 50 years; daughter Jennifer (Jonathan); son Jonathan (Krista); grandchildren Jonathan (Madelyn), Jay (Ashley), Lynn (Taylor), Karhu, Eira and Aalto; and the first great grandchild due any day; sister Betsy and brother Alan (Janet).
She brought joy and warmth to the lives of those around her and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Trenton Methodist Church. The family will receive friends just prior to the service from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trenton Methodist Church.
Claudia's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
