Charlie and Mary were great friends!  Thankful he's not suffering anymore and is with his Savior and his dear Mary. Prayers for the family.

Mr. Charlie always knew how to make me laugh!  If you were in a bad mood or "down", he did everything he could to get a smile!  I always knew that he and "Miss Mary" were there for me. Love and prayers for you, Lisa and Sheila.

Sheila and Lisa, Our condolences for your loss. Your father was well known and well liked by many. You can find comfort knowing that he is at peace with your mother now.

So sorry to read about the passing of your Love One. There are no words that can be said to remove the sadness and pain that you feel, and I can't say that I know how you feel at this time, or that I know your pain. But the bible recommends, rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. So until your tears turn into joy, I would like to extend my deepest heartfelt sympathy to you for the loss to your family. (Romans 12:15)

Sheila and Lisa, So sorry to have read about losing your dad. I remember all the times that our children got together at your parents house to play. Daddy these last 2 weeks I was able to spend with you have been the greatest joy because I got so many "I love you's" and priceless memories. Everyday I was able to sing Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art and you would try to sing with me but you couldn't. You prepared me well for this day and I will live my life knowing I had the best dad and greatest teacher. You will be missed every day but I will carry you and your love with me where ever I am. 
Rest easy soldier, your time on this earth is done.

I love you daddy and thank you for loving me all these years.

Lisa & Sheila,  We are so sorry for the loss of your dad but rejoicing that he is now in Heaven with our Lord & Savior and those he loved.  Have many precious memories over the last 40 yrs. of knowing your family.  Wish we could be there for you today, but know we are praying for you as you lay his body to rest.  We love you girls. Mr. Charlie lived his life as a good Christian should, by example.  We lost a great friend and even in his darkest times, he never lost his faith. He is now with the Lord and reunited with Mrs. Mary.  We are sending love and many prayers to the family.

We knew Mr. Charlie for many years. We still live behind the trailer park he once owned. It's never been the same since. He and Mrs. Mary were the sweetest people and will be missed so much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family

Charles was a man that would not and could not say "no" to anyone that needed him in any way. He was as someone wrote, "a gentle giant". You and Mary were my family and I will miss you.

I didn't personally know Mr. Laughinghouse - but if he was anything like Lisa, who has been one of my finest of students, then he was indeed a man with a heart.  I am saddened at your loss and will remember you in my prayers.  Lisa, my heart breaks for you - it has been a tough time for you recently but you have hung in there.  If there is anything I can do to help you "ever" let me know.

Charlie was such a kind man who was always happy.  I know he and Mary are together again in Heaven.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

What a Gentle Giant! Some of my best childhood memories involve Uncle Charlie and Aunt Mary. Pulling a shrimp trawl,opening the tail bag to release the bounty while chilling @ CAMP  Dawson's Creek and loving every moment while "helping" him wrench on Z-1 just to name a few. He gave me my first real job helping around the shop of JCP. I can still close my eyes and see him handling customers and mechanics with ease as he chewed on that big 'ole cigar joking and laughing. RIP

Our thoughts and prayers are with you now, Charles will be missed by a lot of people. He is now gone to be with the Lord, and with his wonderful wife Mrs. Mary. He is such a happy man now.

Mr. Charlie was a good man with a loving heart. He was always there to help people in need. He will be missed.  Prayers for the family as they celebrate his life.

He was a big man with an even bigger heart. He was a kind and caring person. So sorry for your loss.

He is smiling and greated by his loved ones and friends.  Most importantly,  he is with the Lord!  Each of u r in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Charles was a good and loving person, husband,father and as his nephew I will miss him but I know he is now in a better place, one without suffering and pain.
