She was born August 19, 1936 in Washington DC. She graduated from St. Tareses Catholic High School and was a proud member of the LAFRA for 38 years and where she held many positions at the local, regional and national level, her last was as Regional President East of LAFRA.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Butler; son David Loyd; step sons, Paul A.Butler and Brian L. Butler; daughters Camille Contino and Michelle Mumford; Brothers, Bobby and Jimmy; sisters Ronnie, Renee, Ann, Cristine, Jean, Lynn and Donna; grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Lindsay, Cole and Tiffany .
A visitation will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cotten Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
