Cathy Jo Thomas Wiggins Smith, 68,of New Bern passed away on Monday March 23, 2020 at her home. She was born in Comfort, NC to the late Charles Elbert Thomas & Mary Ruth Sparrow. Cathy was known as a great woman and Mom. Throughout her life she worked at Frigidaire and was a homemaker. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband; Joe Smith, Three sons; Tim Wiggins and his girlfriend Amy of the home, Gene Wiggins and his wife Tracy of Kennansville, NC, Jim Wiggins and his girlfriend Hailey of Goldsboro, NC, One daughter; Christy Jarman and her boyfriend KJ of Kinston, NC along with several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also, a sister; Jean Vincent and her husband Tim, a brother; Chuck Thomas and his wife Janet. Cathy was loved dearly by all who knew her and she will be missed by many. Cathy’s final resting place will be at Thomas Philyaw Cemetery in Comfort, NC.
