Carolyn faithfully served the Lord with her husband in the Islands and Nova Scotia as missionaries with Worldwide New Testament Baptist Missions. In her spare time, Carolyn was an avid gardener.
Leaving behind to honor and cherish Carolyn's legacy and memories are her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph Cannon; sister, Sylvia Raynor and her husband, Danny; nephews, Jason Raynor and Nicholas Raynor and his wife, Norma, and their children, Lillian and Dodge; and many loving family members, church family, and close friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Wells.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church. A celebration of Carolyn's life will begin at 12:00 noon. Following the service, Carolyn will be laid to rest at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carolyn's memory to Calvary Baptist Church or to the Worldwide New Testament Baptist Missions Board. All donations can be mailed to Calvary Baptist Church at 1821 Rhem Ave, New Bern, NC 28560.
