BJ was born May 15, 1981, in Portsmouth, Ohio and attended New Bern High School. She enjoyed family activities but her children were the joy of her life.
She is survived by her children Bradford Jordan and Olivia Jordan of New Bern; her brothers John Gartin and Bob Gartin of Portsmouth, Ohio; her sisters Danielle Ashley of Minford, Ohio, and Jennifer Lis of Havelock, NC; her grandfather William R. Gartin Sr. of Portsmouth, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William R. Gartin Jr. and Paula Renee Fraley.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held over the Memorial Day weekend in Portsmouth, Ohio.
