Always missing my dear friend, my sister in Christ, my laughing and crying partner.  I miss you Bernie so very much. Always in my heart.

Bernadette was a dear friend and a beautiful person. She really listened to and encouraged people with all her heart. Bernadette shared  love  and faith everywhere she went, especially with those who were struggling with loss. She and Bob were an amazing couple, and we were graced with their friendship for many years. We miss you, Bernadette, but we are glad you are resting in the arms of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. 
P.S.  Thanks for all the meals, hikes and kayak trips. You were a fabulous friend.

Bernadette loved love life. She became such a good friend in such a short time. I so wish we had more time to make memories. We will never forget. Love you Bernie. 

Aunt Bernie was full of strength and warmth, kindness and love, faith and grace... I could go on and on.  She was one of a kind and being a part of her life was a blessing.  From when I was born until she passed away she showed me unconditional love most don't get to have & I know how lucky I am to have had her as my aunt and god mother.  I'm so thankful my husband and daughter got to know her and explore New Bern with her and Uncle Bob.  She will be missed until we're together again.  

As an friend to all of The Mark’s family my sympathy goes out to all . Your sis Lee and I were great friends, but not only Lee but the whole family due to the great parenting by Charlie and Bernie. We all shared wonderful memories from the TBC where summer was the best. RIP Bernie in the arms of our Lord.

I am saddened to hear and so sorry for her, the family and all who knew Bernadette. I knew her by the name Bernie.  Spent many summer nights  with Bernie and my sister Liz in their tree fort on the farm. We were just little kids but we felt so mature on our own in the dark scary night filled with stars and animal sounds..  When the sun came up we started the day off with our traditional cinnamon toast warmed on a piece of metal over the fire. What a wonderful way to grow up and I treasure every moment.   Prayers and love for her family and friends.  Rest In Peace Bernie, Theresa 

Always loved our time together and the memories we made. Bob, you and Bernie have been such a blessing to us all. Special me (Ron) as you shared the gospel with me and helped me grow in my faith. 

Have you ever met someone for the first time and you are accepted as a friend of that person as if you were known for the longest time? Bernadette was that outgoing new friend, we will always cherish that feeling  given to us and will strive to be like her. For God so loved the world,… he gave us Bernadette and she lightens the lives of others as we hold her in our hearts.
