I know this message is very late but I have just learned of  your loss of Bea.  There are no words that can every express the love my family had for this wonderful lady!  She and my mom, Margaret had such a special relationship....she was her best friend and adopted sister. While mom was still alive you would not see one without the other. 

There are so many favorite memories I have,  but I think the best was the first year they came to our lobster sale at the church. They elected to have the cooked lobster dinners.  After completing their first one they both asked were more available....they ended up eating several of the dinners and only the shells were were left of the lobsters...picked clean. They were so cute with their lobster bibs and butter all over their hands, face and running  down their arms. They had adventures like that all the time...full of fun and love.

The greatest gift she gave me was being there for me  when I lost mom.  She truly was a “gift from God”...a special lady who will be missed unmeasureably by all who had the chance to have her in their lives.

I know she and mom are up to their pranks in Heaven.....God is really going to have His hands full with those two!

Dear Cousins and extended family,
So very sorry for your loss of one of the Best Mothers I know.  Aunt Bea was so sweet, friendly and had a contagious laugh. I have fond memories of our visits to North Carolina, Virginia Beach, and Alabama to visit you all, many, many years ago of course.  Enclosing a picture of Aunt Bea and Aunt Shirley taken in Sedona, AZ on January 4, 2006.  Aunt Bea came out to visit a few weeks after my mother, Mayme Beall passed away.  Take care of each other.

Memories of Mrs. Riggs brings a smile to my face and love in my heart   Mrs Riggs was my mom’s best friend ( Mrs. Riggs was a best friend to a lot of people) and a very loved friend to our family. Mrs. Riggs had a special way of brightening up the visit with her love, joy, hope and humor. She was always there with a listening ear and heart. 
Mrs. Riggs fed my son his first food; grits from Mary’s Kitchen in Virginia Beach. 

Along with Mrs. Riggs friendship came her family. I am blessed to know the Riggs family.
Special love to them  and know that your mom will be forever in many hearts. As a friend she showed and taught us joy, love and hope.

Rayburn, Sheila, Susie, Ronald and Darlene:  I am so sorry for your loss.  How can you share a lifetime of memories in just a few words for this beautiful lady?  Your mom was the same every time you saw her.  She did not pretend to be something she wasn’t and what you saw is just the way she was.  She was so full of life and the life of any party.  She was always laughing.  She was never rude, but was always honest, even if it wasn’t quite what you wanted to hear.  I don’t think she was shocked by anything.  I loved talking to her.  I was telling her once how I loved a particular picture of her where she was wearing a dress.  She said “I wore that dress everywhere.  It was the only one I had and I thought I was really something in it.”  Of course, she just laughed about it.  The last time we had a family get-together in New Bern she was sitting beside Edwin and Pat.  Beatrice and Edwin were picking on each other.  We were laughing so hard we almost cried.  That is the way I want to remember her - with that beautiful laugh, the way her face would light up and the mischievous way she had about her.  More often than not she was the instigator of lots of laughter and fun.  Even though she is a cousin, she was more like a sister to us.  When I talk about the family I have always included her as a sister because that is how I saw her.  I am going to miss her, just knowing she won’t be there makes me miss her more.  Love and prayers for all of you.  Beatrice is a beautiful lady and I sure do love her.  Sorry I can't be there. 

So sorry to hear about Aunt Bee. We send our deepest sympathies and regrets to all guys. I know she will be greatly missed.

Beatrice was a lovely lady, inside and out. As a family friend for many years, she watched me grow. Her and my Mama, Hazel Jones, were best friends. She always had a smile and an encouraging word. She was family. RIP, Mrs. Bea. Your memory will live forever in the lives you've touched. 

Lifting the family in prayer. Mrs. Bea was such a sweet lady, always smiling.  We always seemed to get to Sunday School at the same time, although we were in different classes. I looked forward to her getting out of her car just as I neared the building. She was always beaming & jovial. New Life will miss her. I will miss her.
