Albert Clifford Adams Jr.

Albert Clifford “AC” Adams, Jr. was the second son born to Lassie Lee King Adams and Albert Clifford Adams, Sr., on the Eagle Nest Farm on a cold December day in 1940. He was preceded in death by both of his wonderful parents, older brother Elwood Lee Adams, and granddaughter Emily Adams.

He leaves behind his wife Violet of 60 years; daughters, Bobbie Adams and Elizabeth Adams; two sons, Albert Adams, III and wife Lisa, and Alan Adams.

He also leaves behind his beloved baby brother, Linwood Adams and wife, Emma and their family.

AC will be dearly missed by a bounty of beautiful granddaughters, Tasha Prunty, Julia Perry, Ashleigh Stutz, Claudia Powell, Carsin Powell, Lindsey Adams, Allie Adams and Kennedy Adams.

He also was blessed with several great grandchildren, John Greyson Stutz, August Stutz, Jake Stutz, Ogden Daniels, Brinley Prunty, and twins, Blake and Nora Greenwood.

He retired after 30 dedicated years with Jones County and enjoyed hunting with both Comfort and Pleasant Hill hunting clubs.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 24th at Cotten Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25th at Cotten Funeral Home with Pastor Ruffin Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
