She was born on July 29, 1940, in Berlin, IL, the daughter of Lenvil and Dorothy (Sheppard) Crabtree. Dolores married Terry D. Johnson. He preceded her in death, on May 11, 1991.
Dolores graduated from New Berlin High School. She went on to work for the IL Dept. of Transportation, from which she retired. Dolores enjoyed birdwatching and Elvis Presley songs.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Anna Mae Shafer; and nephew, Wade Shafer.
Dolores is survived by her nephew, Neil Shafer of New Berlin, IL; cousins, Betty Graham, Glenn Graham, and Wayne Graham; great nephews, Terence, and Tanner; and step-great nieces, Tiffany, Tara, and Trisha.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home – New Berlin, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin, IL. Burial will follow at Woodwreath Cemetery in New Berlin.
