I’m so sorry to my family - Gladys, Ryan, Veda, Ashton, Marissa & Elielis Fermino. Our lost is so DEEPLY painful!

 It’s been hard for me to write because there’s so many things to say and not enough space to write. So I’ll try my best to keep it short.

Billy we created a brotherhood at the very young age of 8 years old. From our stomping grounds where it all began at Cedar Street - to Kempton (briefly) all the way to Parkdale projects...Ah...our glorious youth...the golden years of the 80’s...our teenage years! From 8 to 50 yrs old I was always right there with you, through it all. We did miss some time in our 30’s, however when we reconnected in our 40’s that was one of the GREATEST feelings EVER!!

like I told u in the hospital, we are two sides of a coin...sometimes different, but always representing the same thing...stuck together...my loyalty and LOVE for you could NEVER be wavered, broken or shattered!!!

I’m gonna miss our long, extensive conversations over the phone two to three days a week. We would always break out into laughter every time you said Lauralee would say to you - you must be talking to Corey on the phone because he’s the only one you stay on the phone with for hours...like two little girls lol 😂 

I wanna thank you for stepping in and taking care of my daughter when I was going through my mental health issue. You and I have talked about the importance of seeking help when dealing with mental illness. I knew that when I chose you to be Godfather to Shawntay you was the right choice and would be there when I couldn’t. For that I’ll always be indebted to you.

 It’ll be my honor to represent your name, as we have the same BLOOD running through our veins...I will enjoy you in my spirit and I will magnify you in my soul.

We will celebrate your life and carry your memory FOREVER!!!

I went to Voc with Billy. He was the first one on the  floor at the dances. I always remember his smile! He was always happy and joking around. My sincere sympathy to your family. May he Rest In Peace!

My sweet Billy, this can't be real! I don't even know where to start, I'm truly saddened by your sudden absence from all of us who love you so dearly. We are all going to miss you so much! I want to thank you for being there for me growing up, you were more like a brother to me than you were a cousin. I'll miss your laughter, jokes, sarcasm and most of all your smile.  My condolence go out to billy daughter and his mother, brother Ryan and sister Vera. Billy is my cousin. He always had a smile on his face and was a gentle soul. He would always have me laughing. Billy and my son  Corey were first cousins . they were more like brothers. Two peas in the pods. They both loved sports even though they had different teams. They both loved horror movies and they both had lgreat love for music. It so hard to believe that he is gone

I knew Billy since first grade and he has always been one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. We went to Carney together and I have so many memories of hanging out in the after care program together, eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and walking home from school.  Throughout the years we have stayed in touch and as many people change over time, Billy was always the same kind hearted soul he was as a child. He will be greatly missed. 

Sorry for your loss  my heart is break for Uncle Billy this ! the name my kids always call him  ! I Remember Thursday afternoon I told him I see you tomorrow and he told me now you don’t want to see me tomorrow because I’m go home today 💔every day I go to his room said good morning uncle Billy he never answer me . I went back to work Sunday ask for him they told me his die  I feel so sad . But god take him to better place no more pain for him R. I . P  Uncle Billy 💔🙏🏾😭

Veda & I were tight growing up & you were like the big brother I never had.  From cruising in your supped out blue ride bump’n Aaliyah’s “Age Ain’t Nuthin But a Number” album to watching the boxing matches & so much more.  Even though it’s been some time since we last saw each other, I can still hear your voice & see myself laughing g at your jokes...  You were a great guy all around! Our friendship ❤ was unique and real. We had alot fun  when we got together. Watching sports and hanging out with you,Family, and friends was awesome 👌. Billy you was my annoying big brother. I’m going to miss your smile and your crazy laugh, I can hear it now as I’m writing this. I do remember when I worked at the bank and you just moved back from Arizona what u was wearing,  I made jokes and cracked on you looking like Big Pun with your bucket hat, your gold chain with your hawiian  buttoned down shirt that showed your chest hairs.  You laughed so hard and called me stupid. You will always be missed and loved. You are my hero. I love u brother. 

I already miss you! I love you always. You are one the greatest this family has. You stayed with the jokes and always showed love. You made my freshman year so much fun!!!! I will see you again one day cousin. God Bless

I don't know where to start. Jesus saw and felt the pain and Billy will be terribly missed. Watching him grow into a man from a kid. His crazy sense of humor , but most importantly his love for life and his family.  Deepest condolences and love to the family. Remembering to fight our battles as strongly as he did, until we go home.
