On this day two years ago  I lost my friend  My father,my  hero, I miss him when i visit  many of the  ponds and ocean  views, where he taught me how to  fish ,and most of all ,the kind gentle, soul  my Dad, was A strong influence  , he would be  proud  that i have finally,have family  relationships, work, and live  to the best of my ability  all things I  would not have without  , without  his influence  ,I truly  miss him everywhere! 

I look for you above the tall green trees in the puffy white clouds and even on the ground among the flowers and the leaves We plant colorful flowers water them and watch them grow they glisten brightly in the sun and for a while a image of your smile glows!He wasn’t a perfect image of anyone nor did he ever want to be But that’s okay because now he’s free we all loved him and that’s how it will always and forever be

Dear Steve Spring is in the air and although it’s been nearly a year I still see you everywhere.The wind blows a song bird flys by a twinkling star in the midnight sky. And I still ask myself why and I try not to cry.Then you send me a sign a message in disquise  , I hear your favorite song as I sing along. A glance at a beautiful flower sitting in the sun  reminds me  how  we had so much fun. A colorful butterfly passing by as I sigh and think how fast time has past us by. Just want you to know how much I care your memories are just about everywhere.I will always strive to keep your spirit alive and celebrate your life,  I’ ll be finejust send me a sign any old time. love You until we meet again  Dear Brother.

Remembering you Steve and celebrating your birthday Feb. 3,1955 I have many special memories that I hold close to my heart, your laughter your smiling face. Dear brother you were lost in the dark for so long and no one came for you. But now the angels have come and taken you out of the darkness into the light, wrapped there wings around you no more pain  or sorrow, you will rest in eternal peace and happiness. Someday we will meet again.

Dear Steve it was a beautiful day in Newport remembering you as the blue water washed over the rocks and people were flying kites in the park across the street remembering when we were kids and we would fly kites your always in my heart love you Rest In Peace until we meet again

     My condolences to the Pepin family for the loss of Steve.  I miss him terribly.  I loved his infectious smile and laugh.  As I have mentioned to you personally, Steve was the nicest person that I have met since I have retired.   I will always appreciate him taking his time to show me around Acushnet, I loved our chats about fishing and other silly childhood things that one would do.  

     He was very crafty, I would try to visit once a week and he would show me his new projects around the house.  I was always amazed at his ingenuity in fixing things.  Steve was always so proud showing off his latest projects.  We talked about vegetable gardens and going fishing.  Steve is always be close in my thoughts and prayers.


I am so sorry for your loss Dot, Ray and family. Words can’t describe how saddened I am. I remember playing football in the yard with Steve and Karen. I have many very  fond and special memories with you all.  Sending my most heartfelt condolences. 

I have so many fun memories  of  Steve.  I remember getting in trouble for the apple throwing 'fights' we used to have.
I saved a necklace that he gave me that says PEACE on it. Makes me smile..

Ed and I send our deepest condolences to Dot, Ray and all their family.  Our families became close when Steven was born, just 10 days before Donna and I were born.  Our lives intertwined in the simple joyful days of childhood on Hedge Street and at Sacred Heart School.  I will always remember Steven as kind and generous and easy to talk to.  Dot and Ray, your devotion and steadfastness were ever present, showing us all the meaning of parental love. We share your deep loss and grief at this difficult time.

I remember Dot & I walking pushing carriages up the avenue w/my daughter & Steve.  When they were around 10 or so he was my daughter's first "boyfriend".   He was a nice,  smiling,  pleasant, kind person way back then and as an adult.   He will be missed.

We were so saddened to hear about the passing of Steve.  We've been neighbors of Ray and Dot for years, and have had many interactions with Steve.  He was such a kind, friendly and outgoing person.  Talking to him was like talking to someone you've known for years...always with a smile on his face.  I know losing Steve at such a young age is heartbreaking, but the good memories of him by all will hopefully lighten the burden and sadness. We had won two fishing tournament,s back to back on tispaquin pond right at the last minutes we had left to show our catch! I have many fond memories fishing with him

My father and I went too court together he was dressed so sharp the judge thought he was the lawyer my father was a great man whom had patience for many people in times of need he never once let me down he had shown me how a true Christian should be I am deeply saddened by this loss much too soon but may he rest in peace

I had the pleasure of working with Steve, he was an engineer in my department. He always had time to listen to you, and was one of the smartest engineers I’ve worked with.  He was just a great guy.

Steve, been a while since I've thought of you, but you were a great engineer and you helped to solve so many of our problems while you worked with us. You had a great smile and a thoughtful ear,  a good listener. You will be missed,

I offer my deepest sympathies to the entire Pepin family during this time of sorrow.  Dot, Ray... you were very close to my parents.. both families having roots dating back to Hedge St.  I always appreciated that you all stayed close even up to the time I lost my parents. 
I would like to share my memories of when we were kids....when  I used to visit my Grandfather's house summers, and how much I enjoyed playing with the kids in the neighborhood...... Steve, Rochelle, the Ryders... all the kids were like one big extended family!   I remember how we would go out at first light and hang around near the bottom of the street where the rocks meet the waves of the Acushnet River, or how we would bounce around from one house to the next as though we had several sets of parents.. unlike today, we were free to roam until sunset..... We would take trips up to the corner store to buy candy, or run around my Grandfather's place where the yard was big enough. I remember the fourth of July cookouts my Uncle Dan would put on....and how we always got a kick out of the "rag man" coming down the street with his "announcement" and those of the "vegetable man" as well.. 
Simpler times then, but now we all are older, and not as healthy as we once were, we all have had our problems to deal with, but maybe the strength of those Hedge Street memories can help you a little.. I know they help me now as they have over the years.  I'm sure Steve is smiling up there remembering as well... 

Dear Steve , I was so thankful  to be with you one last time, as you made your journey to the  gates of heaven.  I will always hold you close  to my heart, with all my wonderful memories of you.  You were such a kind and giving person , always wanting to help others.  Dear Brother, I will love you always, rest in eternal peace.

I remember when you were born, I was so excited, my first nephew. I remember skipping school to go to your house to play with you. This little chubby kid. You were so much fun. We used to take you to Lincoln Park, there were these little cars on tracks that went up hill and you were so enamored with the wheels you didn't care where you were going, Uncle Howard and I would crack up laughing. I sure missed you when I moved away. You have baby sat my kids when they were little, I remember when the mouse got out of the cage and I found it in the dish washer, fond memories. You are a good and kind person. I'm  glad that we were able to see one another the last time I came to visit. I will forever think of you with loving and caring thoughts.

l'll always remember you as a big strapping guy with a deep booming voice and an equally spirited laugh. My sister and I will never forget how you gave us an air hockey table for Christmas one year when we were kids. It was the biggest gift we had ever received and we were super excited...a fond memory of your well-known generosity. You're gone from us far too soon, but you've climbed up the stairway to heaven. Rest in peace.

You will always be my big brother you will always be in my heart I’ll try to remember all the good time we had as brother and sister for now you are at peace love you and miss you forever
