Sandra M. Sirois

Mrs. Sandra Marie (Medeiros) Sirois, “Sandy”, age 52, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday May 28, 2014, after a long illness. She is survived by her soul mate, Louis Sirois, her parents: Jeanne Dextradeur and Henry Medeiros, mother –in-law: Janice Sirois, her sisters and brothers-in-law: Lisa Medeiros, Sara Silva, Jason Silva and Michael Sirois, step-mother Helen Medeiros and step-sister Alex Medeiros. She was pre-deceased by her sister Karen Medeiros.

Sandra worked in the accounting department at N.B.I.S. before her retirement.

The family thanks community nurses for their dedication in giving Sandra goals to reach at the end of her rainbow. Also, many thanks to her PCA’s : Ann Marie Raposo whose dedication in caring for Sandra went beyond words-we could not have done it without you; and Linda Almeida for brightening up her day, especially her last. You always brought laughter into her life- thanks, Linda!

Her funeral mass will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph- St. Therese Church, Acushnet Ave. New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are omitted. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
