Sandra “Sandi” C. (Brindle) Cabral, 71 of New Bedford, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Ronald P. Cabral, to whom she shared 40 years of marriage.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Albert and Lauraine V. (Brenton) Brindle, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Sandi worked as a cashier for many years. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and her little buddy Buster. Sandi enjoyed trips to Cape Cod and New Hampshire and being outdoors. She also enjoyed her conversations with her neighbors and going out to dinner.
In addition to her husband Ronald, she is survived by her son Stephen P. Lucas and his wife Sara of Mattapoisett; her granddaughters, Meagan, Lyndsey and Madison Lucas; her beloved Buster and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Janice Silveira.
