Born in Freetown, she attended school in Freetown and later was employed by the Olive Garden for 20 years. Rosalyn loved her family and people in general, she was an extremely affectionate and caring person. She loved dancing and to sing, especially “My Girl”.
She is survived by four brothers, Casimiro Santos and his wife Jean, Edward Santos and his wife Vivian, Sylvester Santos all of New Bedford, Gerald Santos of Freetown; two sisters, Maria Barros and her husband Alfred (Sonny) of E. Freetown and Shirley Pacheco of New Bedford; a brother- inlaw, Manuel Burgo of Hanson. She was the sister of the late Helena “Dolly” Burgo.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00AM in the New Life Pentecostal Church, 789 Main Street, Acushnet, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Arrangements are in the care of ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Visitation Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00PM. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery, New Bedford.
