Robert Edward Costa Sr.

He was born and raised in New Bedford and has lived in Fairhaven for 10 years.

Mr. Costa had worked as a long haul truck driver for Brooks and Eaton.

He enjoyed puzzles and antique cars and truck models.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Anderson of Acushnet; two sons, Alan R. Costa and his wife Barbara and Robert E. Costa Jr. both of New Bedford; eight grandchildren, Ashley and Candice Anderson, Kala Costa, Jessenia, Joshua, Junior, Jayden and Nyla Torres; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Owen and Briella. He was the brother of the late Kenny Costa, Jane Costa and Mona Menard.

His Funeral will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10:30am in St. Kilian’s Church, 306 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Visitation will be prior from 9:00-10:00am in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will be in Acushnet Cemetery.
