Richard Paul Ramos Sr.

Born in Acushnet, a son of the late Albert and Sophie (Galus) Ramos he was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Ramos graduated from the Greater New Bedford Vocational High School. Richard owned Johnson Brother’s Carpet and later worked as a contractor of flooring.

He loved animals. In his heart, family always came first. Richard had a way of bringing people together and he always chose to forgive easily and taught everyone to love one another. He was a fan of the New England Patriots.

Surviving in addition to his companion are his two children, Richard Ramos, Jr. and his wife Kellie of Acushnet and Kimberly Lavoie and her husband Paul of Coventry, RI; his “world” and grandchildren, Bethany Ramos and her fiancé Christopher Gerstmyer, Andrew Lavoie, and Matthew Lavoie; siblings, Mary Konstantakos, Alberta Strand and her husband Richard, Robert Ramos and his wife Grace, and Theresa Duvernay. Richard was the brother of the late Albert Ramos and brother-in-law of the late Demetrios Konstantakos and Billie Ramos.
