Richard Hebert

Born in Acushnet, the son of the late Norman and Alice (Denault) Hebert, he was raised in Acushnet and lived most of his life in New Bedford before moving to Florida.

He was a graduate of St. Anthony’s High School in New Bedford.

Mr. Hebert was an entrepreneur throughout his life. He worked at Acushnet Company and his latest job was at Stateline Irrigation.

Richard was a fan of the New York Jets and Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed music, collecting sports memorabilia and was a car enthusiast, especially corvettes.

His family includes a son, Craig Hebert and wife Amanda of Freetown; a daughter, Keri Hebert of Assonet; a brother, Donald Hebert and wife Joan of Winter Haven, FL; two sisters, Diane Forgue and husband Robert of Dartmouth and Rachel Hebert of New Bedford; and a granddaughter, Quinn Hebert.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 4-6pm in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
