Pauline M. DelSolio, age 83 of Acushnet, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Charlton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She was welcomed triumphantly by her Lord and Savior to live in her Heavenly home forever. She was wife of the late Louis DelSolio and former wife of Manuel F. Roupa.
Pauline was born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Stella (Bourbeau) LaFleur. She lived in Acushnet, Taunton, Middleboro and Florida then settling back in Acushnet for the remainder of her life. She was a meat wrapper for 20 years at the former Fernandes Market, retiring in 1978.
Pauline was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pauline had great faith and a relationship with her Lord. She was an animal lover, enjoyed bird watching in her back yard, she loved visiting the ocean, cooking and was always willing to feed people. To all her who knew her, Pauline will forever be remembered for her generous soul and the joy she had by helping others.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Child and her husband George of Taunton and Susan M. Child and her husband Steven of E. Taunton; two sons, Edward P. Roupa and his wife Lynne of Middleboro and Robert B. Roupa of E. Taunton; a sister, Dolores Dias of Fairhaven; ten grandchildren, Chris, Zack, Melanie, Nicole, Tom, Lindsey, Jacob, Norman, Joshua and Stephanie; seven great-grandchildren, Maddox, Paisley, Colby, Arianna, Bella, Lily and Hayden and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul LeFleur.
