Pauline Ann (Steele) Almeida, age 89, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Providence, RI surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Almeida and the companion of the late Arthur Boudreau.
Pauline was the daughter of the late James and Sabina (Ryan) Steele. She was born in Fall River and lived most of her life in the south coast area. Pauline was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and was the owner of Polly Ann’s Beauty Salon. She was also a local cosmetology instructor.
Survivors include a daughter: Catherine Almeida of Williamstown, New Jersey, a special niece: Joanne Bernier, special friends: Michelle Adams and Thomas Boudreau and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
