Paul E. Quintin

Paul E. Quintin, 92 of New Bedford, formerly of Wareham, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 in St. Luke’s Hospital after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Elvira (Rodericks) Quintin.

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Oliva and Antoinette (Bergeron) Quintin. He was raised in New Bedford and later in life, he resided in Wareham with his wife for many years. He was employed as a custodian at Aerovox Corp and Newport Creamery prior to his retirement. Paul loved his family dearly, especially all of his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, Saltwater fishing and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Paul is survived by his children, Michael Quintin of TX, John Quintin of New Bedford, Jeremiah Quintin and his wife Denise of Colorado, Norman Quintin and his wife Devonne Quintin of New Bedford, Gary Quintin of New Bedford, Maureen Ellis of GA, Gloria Pastaris and her husband Daniel of FL and Jean Quintin and her husband Thomas of New Bedford; his siblings, Leonard Quintin of Dartmouth, Rita Souza and her husband of New Bedford and Therese Damiano of Providence; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Roger Quintin, Lucille Alfonso, Jeanne Quintin and Doris Quintin.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 8:30AM in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745 followed by his Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 121 Mt.
