Patricia Ann Mellody

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Louis R. and Catherine (Youngson) Silva.

Patricia was a graduate of Wareham High School, class of 1956 and was the owner of Gemini ll Hair Salon where she was a Hairstylist for thirty-five years.

Family was very important and spending time with her beautiful grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, an avid word searcher, loved gardening, and adored her two cats, Sox and Mittens. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving children, Wendi See and her husband Jeffery of Attleboro, MA and Andrew Mellody and his wife Suzanne of New Bedford; six grandchildren, Jillian Kate, Emma Katherine, Courtney Joachim and her husband Matthew, Jack Thomas, CeCe and Matthew; a great-grandchild, Nolan; two sisters, Nancy Silva in Marion, MA and Lucielle Nelson and her husband Ralph in Dartmouth; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Richard Silva.
