Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Joseph and Erma (Sipe) Rodrigues she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Medeiros worked as a phlebotomist in St. Luke’s Emergency Room. When she was not working, she was very active with the Girl Scouts acting as a scout leader for many years and she was instrumental in Greenbrier Girl Scouts Camp. Mary-Lou was also a member of the Red Hat Society and she was always involved with the lives of her children. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling extensively and always spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Michael Medeiros and his wife Elisabete of Acushnet and Liza Medeiros of New Bedford; two brothers, Joseph Rodrigues and his wife Barbara of Ocala, FL and Mark Rodrigues and his wife Joanne of Acushnet; two grandchildren, Seth Medeiros and Gabriela Rocha-Medeiros; her two fur grand babies, Jack and Baxter; and several nieces and nephews.
All her services are private and under the directions of ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
