Maria Marques

Born in Portugal, a daughter of the late Manuel Joaquim Marques and Maria do Rosario, Mrs. Marques lived in the United States for many years working as a stitcher in the local garment industry. Miss. Marques was a menber of Portuguese congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for many, many years! which made her a very happy and lovely woman.

Survivors include a daughter, Cidalia Brites Rosa and her husband Mario of New Bedford; a brother, Manuel Marques and his wife Noemia of Portugal; 3 grandsons, Paulo Brites of Portugal, Ruben and Daniel Rosa of New Bedford; 1 granddaughter, Monica Brites of Portugal, 2 great-granddaughters, Nicole Brites and Matilde Brites Massano of Portugal; a nephew, Al Marques of South Dartmouth, many nieces and nephews, her dear loving friends and her caring physicians: Dr. Kumar, Dr. Lin. She was the mother of the late Alcides Brites.
