Manuel dos Santos

He was the husband of the late Rosemary L. (Costa) dos Santos with whom he shared 50 years of marriage before her passing.

Born in Portugal, a son of the late Francisco and Teresa (Afonso) dos Santos, he came to America at the age of 13.

Mr. dos Santos worked at Cliftex for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing and watching soccer, especially the Portugal national football team. Manuel enjoyed sports and the Red Sox. He spent his days watching westerns, Judge Judy, and several other TV shows. He delighted in feeding his birds and he was adamant about the bird food that he used.

He is survived by his children, Jason dos Santos and his wife Rachel of New Bedford and Julianne das Neves of Fairhaven; five grandchildren, Ariel, Brandon, Kayla, Chloe, and Daniel; his siblings, Jose dos Santos and Maria Pereira. He was the father of the late Andrea dos Santos.
