Manuel Valero Carreiro, age 80, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the son of the late Almorinda (Carvalho) and Faustino Carreiro.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, Manuel was a lifelong resident of New Bedford.
Manuel was easy going and enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved soccer and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ofelia (Tavares) Carreiro and his two sons both of New Bedford.
His services are private and are in the care of Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745
