Lucille M. Fredette

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Ernest L. and Aurelie (LeBlanc) Fredette, she lived most of her life in the city. She was a graduate of St. Anthony High School.

Ms. Fredette had worked as an insurance broker for Gilbert Oliveira Insurance and Boisvert Insurance for 40 years, retiring in 1990.

Lucille enjoyed playing Bingo, exercising and shopping. A computer enthusiast, she expressed her artistic talent by coloring on her IPad. She was a member of the Women’s Community Access Program. She loved spending time with her family.

Her family includes three children, Seth Dreyton and his husband Michael Gauthier of Dartmouth, Sandra Leclair of New Bedford and Steven Leclair of Mashpee; her brother, Norbert Fredette and his wife Anita Belliveau of Highpoint, NC; three grandchildren, Desiree Leclair, Monique Grilo and Austin Leclair; two great-grandchildren, Dallas Leclair-Paullflores and Tuuka Grilo; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Leo, Armand, Herve and Emile Fredette, Pauline Deschenes, Theresa Metthe and Rita Letourneau.
