Lisa Ann Medeiros

Lisa was born in New Bedford, the daughter of Jeanne Dextradeur and Henry Medeiros. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and went on to get her LPN license at Diman Regional Vocational. She worked as an LPN in New Bedford until she was longer able to work. She was also a United States Army Veteran.

Lisa enjoyed doing anything athletic. She liked rollerblading, riding her bike or anything to keep her going. The simple pleasures in life brought joy to Lisa right up until her last few hours and her long time care taker, Grace was able to wash her hair and Lisa always said that felt so good.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her sister, Sara Silva of New Bedford and a brother-in-law, Louis Sirois of New Bedford. She was also the sister of the late Karen Medeiros and Sandra Sirois.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10AM in St. Joseph-St. Theresa Church, Acushnet Ave, New Bedford. Her burial will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Rock Funeral in New Bedford. For online tributes, please visit: www.rock-funeralhome.com
