Laura Bonneau

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Alma (Lavallee) Robert, she was a longtime resident of E. Freetown before moving to Maine.

She had worked as an inspector at Titleist for 18 years, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of the Freetown Seniors, the Freetown Council on Aging and a former member of the St. Anne’s Ladies Guild. She enjoyed gardening, loved her home in Freetown and the company of her loving family.

Survivors include a daughter, Paulette M. Bonneau of Biddeford, ME; a son, Samuel R. Bonneau and his wife Isabel of New Braintree, MA; two sisters, Rita Grimley and Doris Girouard of New Bedford; two brothers, Philip Robert of Sun City, AZ and Laurent Robert of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leo and Edward Robert and Simonne Lafferty.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 8am from the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a funeral mass at 9am in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., E. Freetown. Visiting hours Friday 5-8pm. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Freetown Council on Aging, 227 Chace Rd., E. Freetown, MA 02717.
