Kenneth J. Sylvia

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Joseph E. and Carmen (Corriero) Sylvia. In his early life he was a resident of the Paul A. Dever School and for the last 13 years has been a resident of Berkley. He attended Co-operative Productions in Taunton. He enjoyed the Red Sox, Patriots, sailing, bike riding and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Surviving: his sister Cynthia M. Alves of New Bedford, niece Laura Felch of New Bedford, nephew Robert Jones of Fairhaven, great niece Keri Felch of New Bedford, great nephew Joseph Felch of New Bedford, great nephew Tyler Jones of Fairhaven, and great great nephew Alec Morse of New Bedford.

His funeral will take place on Thurs. Feb. 6, 2014 at 8:30AM from the Rock Funeral Home 1285 Ashley Blvd. New Bedford, followed by a funeral mass at 9:30AM in St. Joseph – St. Therese Church Acushnet Ave. New Bedford.
