Jose Teixeira

Born in Sao Miguel, Azores . He cherished his family, gardening, and Benfica. During the World Cup Brazil and Portugal were always in his heart.

He is survived by his wife Juvenalia Teixeira, daughter Alda Teixeira and wife Irizalva Medeiros, and sons Roger and Sergio Teixeira. He was the father of the late Jose Rogerio Teixeira and Adriana Teixeira, his brothers Gilberto Teixeira and sister -in-law Lourdes Teixeira and Fernando Teixeira and sister-in-law Caterina Teixeira. He was the son to the late Rosa Dutra and Jose P. Teixeira.

Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745. Relatives and friends are invited. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 10:00AM in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle Street, New Bedford, followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
