Janet L. Zychowicz

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Mikolaj and Mary Ann (Tomczewski) Jaremko, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Mrs. Zychowicz was employed as a Laboratory Test Report Clerk for Revere Copper and Brass for several years. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two children: John Zychowicz Jr of Milton, MA and Loretta “Lori” Edwards of Lynnville, TN; three grandchildren Daniel Edwards, Philip Edwards and Nikolai Zychowicz; a sister Irene Turbak of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Louise Josepek, Stasia Price and Angela Zawisza.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 8AM from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at 9AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help 235 North Front St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8PM.
