Gloria E. Gabriel

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Ovila and Marie Anna (Cormier) Ouimette, she was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Gabriel worked as a salesperson at Cherry & Webb and Touraine. In her spare time, she enjoyed tennis, bowling and dancing. She and Daniel were members and past presidents of the St. Joseph’s Couples Club.

She is survived by two children, Steven Gabriel and Doreen Richard of New Bedford; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one niece. She was the sister of the late Vivian Martinson and Leo Ouimette.

Her funeral will be Friday, November 17, 2017 at 9 am from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford.
