Elizabeth A. Miller

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Edward N. and Maria (de Freitas) Miller she grew up in New Bedford before moving to Boston for approximately 40 years.

Betty worked as a fabric chemist for a textile company in Boston. She did special projects such as testing fabric for NASA and the military. She enjoyed meeting new people and everyone who met her fell in love with her. Betty recently found the joy of going to the movies on Saturdays followed by dinner with friends. She travelled all over the world but nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family.

She is survived by two siblings, James Miller of New Bedford and Marilyn Miller of CA; many breakfast friends; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late William Miller and Angela Smith.
