Eleanor was born on Memorial Day in 1922. In her early years she was a brownie and girl scout leader, who taught many girls to become fine young women.
Eleanor portrayed Mistress Mary Brewster for 19 years on the ship Mayflower in Plymouth, often meeting celebrities and the Emperor of Japan Akihito. Eleanor worked as an Activities Director and later as an Assistant Day Care Provider at Aunty Kathy’s Day Care. She performed at school groups, nursing homes, and various historical societies in New England, Vermont and Maine. She was a masterful entertainer on all things pilgrims.
Eleanor leaves behind her daughter Kathleen Mason Pepin; her baby sister, Claire Andrews; a grandson, Joshua Pepin; a great grandson, Nathaniel Pepin; several nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are in the care of the ROCK Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers say a prayer to St. Jude.
