Born in Acushnet, a daughter of Irene (Souza) Correia of Fairhaven and the late David Correia she was a lifelong resident of the city.
Debra worked as a customer service manager for Christmas Tree Shop. She was the former President of the Holy Ghost Feast at Immaculate Conception Church and an avid reader. Mrs. Couto was very involved with her family’s business D & A Enterprise. Debra loved to go to the beach and she loved her puppies, Molly, Autumn, and Rusty. She will always be remembered as a wonderful Auntie to Candice and Caleb.
In addition to her mother, her niece and nephew, she is survived by three sisters, Norine Albert of New Bedford, Ann Raples and her husband Michael of New Jersey, and Lynn Correia of Fairhaven. She was the sister of the late Lori Ann Correia.
Her funeral will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 8 am from the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church, Acushnet Ave., New Bedford.
