David Joseph Peitavino of New Bedford passed away on November 8th 2023, peacefully and comfortably at home. He was the loving husband of Elaine D. Sirois Peitavino to whom he shared 21 years of marriage.
He was the son of the late Paul and Rita (Gioiosa) Peitavino. He worked for Julius Koch as a supervisor for 39 years. David enjoyed bicycle trips on Cape Cod and the Islands and playing Frisbee at Horseneck Beach. His hobbies included archery, fishing, crosswords and some travel. He mostly enjoyed listening to his favorite music while driving down the country roads in his Jeep.
He is survived by two daughters Kellie M. Peitavino of New Bedford and Mollie R. Peitavino of Fall River. As well as a sister Nancy Young and her husband Peter and their two sons Jonathan and Jacob Young of FL.
