Christine Louise Landry

Christine L. Landry, age 46, of New Bedford died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. She was born on October 11, 1968 in Anchorage, Alaska, to Louise R. LaFrance of Fairhaven and Edward Ellis of Freetown.

Christine was a certified CNA, having worked for Sacred Heart Nursing Home and Kristen Beth Nursing Home. Prior thereto, she worked at the Fairhaven House of Pizza. She spent her early years in New Bedford, and lived in Jacksonville, FL for three years before returning to New Bedford where she lived for most of her life. Christine enjoyed cooking and all things food related. She will always be remembered for her cheerful demeanor and her laughter.

In addition to her parents she leaves a daughter, Catherine A. Bessette of Brockton and two sons, William Thomas of New Bedford and Shawn Jason Souza of the North Shore; three sisters, Lori A. Landry and Mandy Ellis of New Bedford and Susan Ellis of El Lago, TX; and five nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive relatives and friends during visitation on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 10 am to 12 Noon in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by burial in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford.
