Bernice L. Rossi

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Helen (Toolis) and Stanley Trznadel, she had resided in Dartmouth since 1955.

She was mother of Edward Rossi and his wife Christine of Rochester, Linda Holden and her husband Gary of Westport, Kathy Souza and her husband James and Michael Rossi and his wife Vivian all of Dartmouth.

Grandmother of Kara, Erika, Gary, Alison, William, Landon, Kurtis and Kurvin. Great grandmother of eleven. A niece, Karin Brunelle of New Bedford; a nephew, Steven Silva of FL; and many nieces and nephews; a cousin, Emily Souza of CA. She was sister of the late Dolores Silva and husband Thomas, sister-in-law of the late Priscilla Spagnoli and husband Thomas.

Mrs. Rossi had worked as a bookkeeper at Cape Cod Sportswear for many years. She also worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in the business office. She and her husband were the former owners of Rossi’s Bakery on Union St. in New Bedford.

Bernice enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially babysitting for her grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, funeral services were private.
