Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Robert and Ivy (Brunton) Graham, she had resided in E. Freetown for the past 58 years.
Mrs. Boehler was a graduate of New Bedford High School and St. Luke’s School of Nursing, class of 1955.
She had worked as a registered nurse in the operating room at St. Luke’s Hospital for several years before raising her children.
Barbara was a member of the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church choir, enjoyed baking, gardening and reading mystery novels. She loved cats, especially her beloved Anabel.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Boehler and husband Gary Pavao of Lakeville and Linda Noyes and husband Robert of E. Freetown; her brother, Robert Graham of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Robert D. Noyes of E. Freetown and Lindsay Makuch and husband Nathan of Acushnet; her great-granddaughter Mila Makuch; and two nieces and two nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 8-10am with a Funeral Service at 10am in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will be private.
