Alice D. Rocheleau

A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. and Marie (Pinel) Rocheleau, she graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1951.

Alice was a long time communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church where she was a hospitality ministry greeter at all masses on Saturdays and Sundays. She was very active at the church and was known to work in the kitchen during Bingo. Alice worked at all church bazaars, concerts and the church’s food pantry. She was a recipient of the Marian Medal.

Alice was a housekeeper at Sacred Heart Home for 34 years.

Alice was Consecrated a Virgin Bride of Christ at St. Anthony’s Church on June 22, 2001. In her leisure time she loved her church and loved to do charity for those in need.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 p.m. at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church Renovation Fund.
