William D. “Bill” Williams, 56 years of age died Sunday, June 10th, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was born April 2nd, 1956 in Louisville, KY. to Wayne M. and Mary L. O’Bryan Williams and was a retired foreman and truck driver with Georgia Pacific Trucking Company in Louisville, KY. Bill was a Kentucky Colonel and a Shriner, but most of all he loved his wife, family and riding his Harley Davidson. He will be missed by all his family and friends that loved and knew him. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne M. Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Deborah K. Simon Williams; daughters, Michelle Williams Shultz (Dan), Amanda Williams Fleming (Christopher); grandchildren, Eric Williams, Conner and Paige Fleming, Kirsi and Kendra Shultz; mother, Mary L. O’Bryan Williams; brothers, Wayne P. Williams, Boyd Williams (Karen); and several nieces and nephews.
Reception of Family and Friends will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday and after 10:00 am Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany. His Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
