William "JR" K. Mott, Jr.

William "JR" K. Mott, Jr. 63 years of age died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born February 7, 1954 in New Albany. Junior was a longtime active member of the Floyd County Token Club in New Albany and was a avid motorcycyle rider. He formerly was employed with the New Albany Floyd County School Corporation and currently was employed with the New Albany Housing Authority. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his family and many friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Paula Smith, Vivian Nevins and Janie Sturgill.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Kathy A. (Puckett) Mott; three children, Jason Mott (Heather), Heather Iles (Danny), and Jessica Whitehair (Chase); seven grandchildren, Trinity, Noah, Brodie, Chloe, Beaux, Penny, Lucie; mother-in-law, Willa Banet; two sisters, Juanita Engleman (Jerald) and Judy Broady; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, July 7, 2017 and 9:00 am until 12:00 pm Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel. Burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
