William Finley Jenkins

WILLIAM "BILL" FINLEY JENKINS, 63, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at home with his family by his side. The son of the late Ora Mousty and Jesse Jenkins, Sr., Bill was born September 19, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana. He was the maintenance supervisor at Geo. Pfau's Sons Co. in Jeffersonville for 37 years and was a huge IU fan. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Darlene Attwood; and brothers-in-law, Harry and Jerry Byrd.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Faye Byrd Jenkins; daughters, Shona Dorman and Renee Islass (Augustine); grandchildren, Shelbe and Samantha Dorman and Brie and Braxton Schoen; siblings, Kathy Ward, Jesse Jenkins, Jr., Darrell Thompson, Ronnie Thompson, and Jesse Thompson; sister-in-law, Bobbie Heavrin (Joey); and brothers-in-law, Steve Byrd (Donna), Larry Byrd, Dennis Byrd, and Carl Attwood, Sr.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Tuesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
