Wendell D Smith

Wendell D. Smith, 84 years of age passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was born July 1, 1934 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Albert and Ethel Smith and was an Army Veteran. Wendell was a retired electrical salesman, a longtime musician and a member of Scottsville Christian Church in Floyds Knobs. He was preceded in death by his wife Lenoris in 2001. Survivors include his sons, Duane Smith and Kevin Smith (Angie); sister, Nancy Rushing; grandson, Logan Smith; step-grandchildren, Bradley Snelling and Sara Snelling-Matthew; and step-great grandchildren, Magdaline Matthew and Olivia Matthew. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with private entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
