Wayne Lee Payne

Wayne Lee Payne, age 75, of New Salisbury, Indiana, formerly of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. Wayne was born on May 18, 1947, to the late Venis and Margarette Payne.

Wayne lived his life dedicated to God, his family, and music. As a minister, father, and musician he always gave his whole heart. In heaven, he will be united with both parents, wife - Jackie Klapheke Payne, and sister - Wanda Payne Paul wife to Tony Paul.

Wayne is survived by two brothers and two sisters; Ronnie (Toya) Payne, Donnie (Susie) Payne, Shirley Payne Lang, and Anita (Steve) Nichols; his three sons; Reginald (Julie) Payne, Richard (Ryan) Payne, and Robert (Amy) Payne; as well as his five grandchildren; Joey, Jackie, Rheyna, Finn, and Aidan.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday prior to the service at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

A funeral service for Wayne will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Upon the family's request, casual attire would be suggested for the visitation as well as the funeral service.
