Tracy truly was a "good guy" - good friend, good to be around, good to have a beer and talk with.  Tracy came to Florida to help his mom with some needed carpentry work.  I was there.  When he finished he was all wound up and ready to do some more so he asked if I had anything to do.  Wow - did I.  And I had just watched how good he was.  So, we spent the next two days with our hammers and saws and drills and wood.   And had a good time while we were at it.   Since then we haven't been together again but we talked on the phone.  He's greatly missed

Derby Day2022; Stacy & I were on our way to the track to place our bets on the "Big Race" that day.  Called Tracy - no, he did not want to place a bet.  However, Stacy wouldn't take no for an answer and he finally picked a number for the Derby.  We went home with nothing - - Tracy won almost $100!!  Stacy could talk him into whatever she wanted (always could) (always did)!

I always loved coming back  to New Albany to visit Tracy. He was so proud of his home and his garden. He took great care of it.  

We sure had a lot of fun getting everyone to smile at the same time for this one. 

I remember you like this. I see your heart ❤️ 

I miss you. I’ll miss our calls and visits.  I’ll see you again some day. 🤗

He was hardworking, smart, Tough but Loving, Strict but Lean, Serious but also goofy.
Here's a few of my favorite memories with him...

It was an Easter. We all met up at his house and had dinner. I got to meet alot of family members id never met before. We had came over to visit, I always remember he'd either be on his chair watching TV with Tigger on his lap or sitting outside with a beer in his hand. I had asked him to buy me some ingredients so that he could FINALLY try my homemade milkshakes that I've been telling him about. Just standing there in his kitchen, teaching him how to make it and him poking my side-- tickling me as I'm getting icecream and milk everywhere to then him bring the first to have a cup... seeing his face light up when I proved him wrong on how good it was and then him being surprised on HOW good it was... us laughing then getting everyone else a cup ready.  
His stories were always also so interesting to listen to... he could go on for days... how life used to be back when he was my age and what he would've changed... including his early relationships before his first serious one with Grandma Donna. Giving me advice how to keep your partner happy.. yourself happy, and live happily. 
I also remember visiting him after mamaw Sharron had passed.. and I had brought a photo of Sharron, my mom, and Aunt Lesa all sitting together. I remeber giving it to him, and he took it and looked down- i saw his lip quiver a tad.. and I smiled sadly. I told him he could have it and then he said no.. no... I'll just copy it so that you can have a copy for my (Dallas's) memory. 
I also remember seeing him for the first time since I was a toddler.. and he was so surprised on how much I had grown.  Him AND Sharron both.  And then a few weeks later,  he gave me a red shirt that said Dallas on it.. and he told me it reminded him of me even though he was just working.  And shortly after, me bubba and sissy all helped wash his truck, and we sprayed each

My favorite memory of Dad was when I was maybe 12 years old. He, his (at the time) step-son John Satterfield Jr. (RIP) and I went on a nighttime fishing trip to the shores of the Ohio River near Leavenworth, Indiana. While we were carting stuff from the truck to the fishing spot, we got separated. From the darkness, in my Dad's booming voice, I heard him yell, "Oh shit! RUN!" A moment later, Dad comes flying by me. At 12 years old, if something scared my Dad, it was the greatest unimaginable monster ever. It turned out to be nothing more than a skunk. Johnny and I laughed at him, which naturally pissed him off! It was a wonderful fishing trip.

We will always treasure  our fishing trip at Safety Harbor. Such a fun day.. RIP !
