Tony McKennon

Tony McKennon, age 65, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He was born on January 13, 1958 in Scottsburg, Indiana to the late Richard and Ruby McKennon. Tony was a maintenance employee with the Indiana State Police and a member Celebration Worship Center in Georgetown, Indiana. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his siblings, Evelyn Akemon, Robert McKennon, Patricia Martinez, Marshell Gilbert, and Pamela Louden.

Tony is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rhonda Nicholson McKennon; children, Josh McKennon (Sarah), Taylor Philpot (Tyler); grandchildren, Rhett and Gentry Jo Philpot; siblings, Teresa Abell (Rick), Julie Chanley (Larry), Jerry Keach (Tracy), numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Tony will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 6:30 PM.
