He was a native of Borden, IN and a 1979 graduate of Borden High School. Tim was a welder by trade and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, William Buford Slone.
Survivors include daughter, Angel Slone; son, Joshua Slone; mother, Betty Potts Kearney; brother, Kim Allen Slone; sisters, Robin Bates, Tammy Johnson, Keata Jones and Stacy Cook; and grandson, Mason Walters.
Memorial visitation will be from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. His memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel.
